Awayside Day Breakfast

Wayside's Corporate Group Volunteering Program

You’re invited to breakfast at The Wayside Chapel to hear about one of Sydney’s leading corporate volunteering programs!

With all bookings full until the end of the year, now’s the time to start thinking about your corporate volunteering program for 2016.

Join us for breakfast on Friday, 27 November from 7.45am to 9am to get an update on The Wayside Chapel’s group volunteering experience.

We’ll give you all the information you need to promote the mutual benefits of corporate volunteering within your organisation and explain why it good for employees, good for the organisation and good for the community.

Over a coffee and a healthy breakfast, we’ll share details about our 'Awayside Days' and you'll have the opportunity to meet our new facilitator of the day - Community Educator Rob Holt, who draws on his lived experience of homelessness and addiction to provide participants with a unique insight into life on the streets.

For those interested, Rob will also conduct a mini guided tour from Kings Cross to the city, dropping you off at St Mary’s Cathedral at 9am (a return tour will be available for those who need to finish back in Kings Cross).

If you know someone who would benefit from this event, please let us know and we'll send them an invitation.
